Update 4/10/2020 Using an ipad/iphone to submit pictures/files onto Google Classroom
If you are having trouble using DocHub to turn in your assignments or if you are completing your packet using paper/pencil then use the PDF above to learn how to turn in your assignments using an ipad/iphone.  You will need to make sure to take pictures of your finished assignments first.
 
 
Update 4/6/2020-DocHub
One of the options students can use to submit assignments is using DocHub.  Click on the link below to see how this is done.
How to Access DocHub
The DocHub App in Google Classroom allows you and students to type on and digitally write on PDFs documents that are added in to your class. 
Install Option1:
Go to your Google Apps dropdown and More Apps from G-Suite and search for DocHub to add (The District is working to whitelist DocHub)
Install Option 2:
Open any PDF document in your Google Drive.  Select DocHub from the Open With dropdown from the Connected apps menu.
 
Update 3/30/2020
Distance Learning-Accessing Google Classroom
Visit the Distance Learning Page on the District Website for the latest information.
To get access to Google Classroom follow these steps, If you have any issues logging in call 956-289-2325 for assistance:
-Log in to skyward with the student username & password(same as A.R.).  Find the students email address under "my account" on top right
-Go to ECISD'S Distance Learning page and click on "Reset Password" (you will need the email address from previous step)
-Use 6 digit birthdate as new password.  You should be able to use the 6 digit birthdate as the new password even if you see that it asks you to create a password using other characters.
-Now you can use this to log in to google classroom - classroom.google.com
-Use DocHub to write on google classroom documents (see Distance Learning Page for more info)
-If you do not have access to a computer/internet then students will do paper packets
-Paper packets will be turned in once we return to school
 
E-Books and Accelerated Reader
-Find and click "Jefferson Elementary"
-Click on "Log In" on the top right side and put in student username and password
-Here you will see "E-Books"
-Click on "See All" on the right hand side
-Use the filters to find books at the appropriate grade level
-Students in 1st-5th grades can take Accelerated Reader (A.R.) tests on books they read during this time. 
-We recommend that students "checkout" the book before they start reading
-Pre-K/Kinder students can read books but will not be able to A.R. Test
-Students will need to know their reading level for A.R. testing.
 
Online Resources
-Click on "Login to Elementary Clever Applications"
-Click on "Log in with Clever"
-Use the student log in username and password to access the digital resources.

Students are required to follow the Dress Code:
Tops: Plain Red or Navy Blue Polo Style Top (No Logo)
Bottoms: Khaki or Navy Blue Shorts, Skirts, Pants
Students may wear blue jeans with uniform top or school/district spirit shirt on Fridays

Reminders
Breakfast is from 7:45 - 8:00 a.m.
Instruction Begins at 8:00 a.m.

No early release after 2:30 p.m.
Morning Drop-Off is located off of 14th st. on southeast side of school.
Afternoon Pick-Up is located off of 12th st. by the gym.
All visitors must sign in at the front office and obtain a visitors pass.
